Australian team Knights announced on Jun. 16 the signing of former Invictus Gaming captain Glen "Lunarmetal" Suryasaputra. He will be replacing Jed "pikniq" Dixon on the roster in a coaching capacity.
The move marks Lunarmetal's first coaching role, an idea he had considered back when on the Invictus Gaming roster.
Lunarmetal brings with him an impressive array of international experience, having played at two Six Invitationals, a Six Major, and a Pro League Finals. With only two APAC playoff spots on offer this stage after the format change, this experience may be extremely important in Knights push to qualify for their second Major and play their very first one.
