If you are a player who doesn't want to show off every bit of information on your Valorant profile, you've probably wondered how to hide your account level. Luckily, the game has a way to do that in case you wish to keep it a mystery to others.
How to hide your account level in Valorant?
The process to hide your account level in Valorant is pretty simple and here are the steps you need to follow:
- Once you're in the game, go to the Collection section.
- Click on the Player Card to the right.
- Select the Level Borders tab at the top of the screen.
- You'll see an option saying "Show my account level on my player card" at the bottom right of the screen. Untick this option and you'll be good to go.
Now the game won't display your account level over your banner when showing the players in the lobby or on top of your player card in other instances.
How to change your name?
If you are currently making some changes to your account and would love to have a new username, there is a way to do that. In order to have a different name, you'll need to change your Riot ID, which is the same name you have in every other Riot game.
Here are the steps to change your Riot ID:
- Visit your Riot Account page using this link. It will ask you for your credentials to log in in case you aren't on your current device.
- From there you can change both your Riot ID and your tag to whatever you like.
- After that, just hit Save Changes.
Keep in mind that once you change your name, you'll have to wait 90 days to change it again for free. If you wish to do it before that period, you'll be charged a fee of $10. For more info on your Riot ID, we talk more in-depth about it in here.
