Geekay Esports have qualified for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup following the team's 2-1 victory against Twisted Minds. This will be the organization's fourth back-to-back international competition after having competed at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, and the Six Invitational 2024.

The series began with Geekay Esports comfortably beating their opponents on Chalet, a map that ended with a 7-3 result. Despite the team's positive start, Twisted Minds forced the third map of the series after a rock-solid 7-4 win on Bank. Eventually, Geekay Esports clinched a spot to compete in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup after a 7-1 win on Oregon.

Although many viewers had already expected Geekay Esports to win MENA's Closed Qualifier, the tournament has given the fans a chance to see many Europeans competing in the final bracket, including the former Team Secret players Reece "Astro" Lambert and Alex "SlebbeN" Nordlund, and Geekay Esports' most recent signing Théo "Frenchy" Leguay.

Following Geekay Esports' victory in MENA's Closed Qualifier, we now know seven of the sixteen teams that will compete in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege Esports World Cup.

Tomorrow, July 3, Asia and LATAM's representatives will be unveiled, with Europe, North America, and Japan following them on Sunday, July 7.
