G2 Esports have unveiled the signing of the Valorant Champions 2023 winner Alexander "jawgemo" Mor from Evil Geniuses. The Cambodian American player had been part of the American organization since January 2022. The now former Evil Geniuse player has been announced as Jacob "icy" Lange's replacement, who parted ways with the team on September 26.

Under Evil Geniuses, jawgemo's best performances came at the end of the 2023 season as the team finished in second place of the VCT 2023 Masters Tokyo and in first place of the Valorant Champions 2023.

During the 2024 season, Evil Geniuses' results took a nosedive as four of the five world champions left the team following the conclusion of the 2023 season. Unfortunately, jawgemo couldn't lead Evil Geniuses back to an international competition as he missed out on Madrid, Shanghai, and Seoul.

Looking back at the 2024 season, the Ascension roster has been one of the best teams in the American region after qualifying for Shanghai, Seoul, and finishing in second place in the VCT 2024 Americas. By adding jawgemo's experience and talent, G2 Esports have instantly become one of the favorite teams to become a leading force not only in their home region but also internationally.

As of now, G2 Esports' Valorant roster looks as it follows:

  • Jonah "JonahP" Pulice
  • Trent "trent" Cairns
  • Jacob "valyn" Batio
  • Nathan "leaf" Orf
  • Aleander "jawgemo" Mor
