FURIA Esports and SCARZ qualify for the Six Invitational 2025

Today's results in Montreal are enough for FURIA Esports and SCARZ to qualify for Boston.

FURIA Esports and SCARZ have qualified for the Six Invitational 2025 following DarkZero Esports' 2-0 victory against Dplus at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal.

Both teams secured a Six Invitational 2025 spot at the same time as today's results in Montreal mean that, regardless of what happens in Canada by the end of the week, neither the Brazilians nor the Japanese will fall from the Global Standings' sixteenth place.

FURIA Esports' first stage was the team's best half of the season as the Brazilians reached the BLAST R6 Major Manchester quarterfinals. However, after having won two BLAST R6 Majors and the Six Invitational 2024, the team's quarterfinal exit was a huge surprise.

Eventually, FURIA Esports' Esports World Cup 2024 semifinal performance was followed by a fourth-place finish in the Brazil League 2024 Stage 2. Unfortunately for them, the team's defeat against Black Dragons in Brazil's Last Chance Qualifier for Montreal meant the Black Panthers had to wait to clinch a Six Invitational 2025 spot.

Meanwhile, SCARZ can still improve their position on the Global Standings as the Japanese roster is still well-alive in Montreal. Following the team's maximum overtime defeat against Team Secret, the squad will have to win two consecutive BO3 to qualify for Montreal's Phase 3.

The Six Invitational 2025 will be played from February 3 to February 16 in Boston, Massachusetts, as twenty of the best teams in the world will clash for a chance to lift the Six Invitational hammer.
