DPlus have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta following the team's victory by 2-0 against Talon Esports. The South Koreans ran over Talon Esports with wins on Clubhouse (7-4) and Consulate (7-3).
Throughout Stage 1, DPlus won the South Korea League and qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen. In Denmark, the roster's only victory came against Team Falcons, as they lost to Soniqs, SCARZ, and Spacestation Gaming.
The BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will be DPlus's sixth international Rainbow Six Siege competition. Their best result came in the Six Sweden Major, when the South Koreans were one round away from qualifying for the grand final.
With this result, DPlus have secured a minimum of 165 SI Points in Stage 2, which must be added to their 235 SI Points tally obtained throughout Stage 1. With 400 SI Points now, it's very unlikely the South Koreans miss out on the Six Invitational 2024.
Next week, DPlus will face the winner of the match between SANDBOX Gaming and Beyond Stratos Gaming to decide South Korea's first seed. The region's Stage 2 champion will move to the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 2, while the loser will start from Phase 1.
