DetonatioN FocusMe has unveiled the team's new Valorant squad to compete in the upcoming off-season tournaments before the start of the VCT 2025.
Throughout the 2024 season, DetonatioN FocusMe was far away from the top of the standings as the team could only get three victories — one in the first stage and two in the second. With only three wins, the Japanese organization finished at the bottom of the standings of the VCT 2024 Pacific.
Ahead of the start of the VCT 2025, DetonatioN FocusMe has only kept Ibuki "Mely" Seki and Tomonori "SSeeS" Okimura. Meanwhile, the team has signed four players from Japan's second tier, including Yu "Akame" Gwang-hui, Kim "Jinboong" Jin-won, Art, and gyen.
DetonatioN FocusMe's first performance with the team's new roster will be the Red Bull Home Ground, where they will play against other Asian teams including Talon Esports, ZETA DIVISION, Rex Regum Qeon, Crest Gaming Zst, and T1. Curiously enough, the South Korean powerhouse also unveiled the final piece of their new Valorant roster, as they have signed the VCT 2024 Masters Shanghai champion Kim "Meteor" Tae-o and the former DRX player Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul.
