T1 has announced the signing of the former DRX player Yu "BuZz" Byung-chul. He's T1's third signing of the transfer window as the South Korean powerhouse had previously added Ko "Sylvan" Young-sub and Kim "Meteor" Tae-o to the squad.
The 21-year-old had joined DRX in January 2022 and since then he represented the South Korean team in three Valorant Champions and three VCT Masters. His best result was at the Valorant Champions 2022, where he helped DRX to finish in third place.
With the arrival of BuZz and the previous signing of the VCT 2024 Masters Shanghai and VCT 2024 Pacific champion Meteor, T1 is arguably the most exciting team in the region ahead of the start of the next season.
The South Koreans will make their official debut for T1 at the Red Bull Home Ground APAC Play-In, where they will play against other VCT teams like DetonatioN FocusMe, ZETA DIVISION, Talon Esports, and Rex Regum Qeon.
