Destiny The Final Shape offers a wide variety of weapons, including the exotic sniper rifle Still Hunt, which comes with an amazing perk that turns the weapon into the Hunter's Golden Gun.
The deadly sniper is highly sought after by players. Although obtaining it requires effort, it's much easier than accomplishing the Dual Destiny exotic mission for example, the exotic quest even requires extensive preparation before you jump into the mission itself. Getting Still Hunt is comparably straightforward.
So in this guide, we'll tell you everything you need to know about the Still Hunt exotic sniper rifle, including how to get it, its perks, and how to get the catalyst.
How to get the Still Hunt exotic sniper rifle
To get your hands on the Still Hunt exotic sniper you need to do two things:
- Complete The Final Shape campaign
- Complete the Wild Card exotic quest
The Wild Card exotic quest is a very easy mission, and it works as a setup for The Final Shape's last mission, called Excision.
Still Hunt exotic sniper perks
The weapon has some of the most interesting perks we've seen on any sniper rifle in Destiny 2, as it essentially acts as a Super, specifically the Hunter's Golden Gun.
Exotic perks:
- Sharpshooter: This weapon gains passive bonuses to target acquisition, aim down sight speed, and flinch resistance. This bonus increases when this weapon's Super mode is active
- Cayde's Retribution: Pick up Orbs of Power or land precision hits to charge this weapon's Super bar. Once full, hold reload to fire Golden Gun shots
How to get the Still Hunt catalyst in Destiny 2
Sadly, it's not yet possible to acquire the exotic catalyst for the Still Hunt. Some fans had hopes that Xur would sell it, however, as of June 14, the elusive vendor has not offered the Still Hunt catalyst.
And that's it. If you're on the hunt for more Xur wares, we recommend you check our guide to farm Strange Coins faster in Destiny 2.
