Bungie has added a very nostalgic armor set to Destiny 2 for players to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the franchise. With it, there's also the Legend title.
Titles in Destiny 2 are a way to show your prowess in different activities. Some involve harder tasks tied with raid or dungeon challenges, while others are more laidback but still carry emotional significance, such is the case with the Legend title.
So, whether you're a title hunter or want this to become the first in your collection, here's how to obtain it. While you're here, consider checking out how to get the Choir One exotic auto rifle.
Destiny 2 Legend title requirements
You'll need to earn a total of seven triumphs to obtain the Legend title in Destiny 2. They all are relatively simple tasks:
You need to complete seven triumphs
- Find all Cayde's stashes in the Tower within the Pale Heart (five)
- Claim a set of Veteran Legend armor ornaments at the Special Deliveries Terminal in the Tower
- Complete Timeline missions. Bonus progress for fireteams of two or more (four missions)
- Complete Vanguard Ops playlists activities, Crucible matches, or rounds of Gambit while wearing the full set of Veteran Legend armor or ornaments
- Defeat combatants and loot engrams in Skywatch on Cosmodrome, while wearing the full set of Veteran Legend armor or ornaments
- Decrypt engrams at the Cryptarch. Focused Decoding does not count as decryption
- Achieve the Justiciar Guardian rank
The first thing you'll need to do is to acquire the full armor set by finding the five Cayde's stash boxes in the Pale Heart Tower. They aren't hard to find and will help you unlock most of the triumphs for completion.
Once you've done this, head to the regular Tower and claim your full ornament set. You can use the ornaments or the actual armor to complete most triumphs.
If you don't know how to access Timeline missions, this is where you'll find them:
- Go to the Destinations tab
- Hover over the banner-like symbol right next to Eternity
- Select it and it will display a timeline of Destiny 2 events
- You can select the first mission from the Forsaken, Beyond Light, The Witch Queen, and Lightfall campaigns to play
If you haven't leveled up your Guardian ranks, then the triumph that requires you to get the Justiciar Guardian rank might be the toughest, as that's the rank 8 out of 10.
The objectives for leveling up Guardian ranks are time-consuming but usually very straightforward. Unfortunately, if you're a solo player, you'll need a few teammates to start completing them from rank 6 and above.
And that's all you need to know. If you want more content, check out how to unlock the Dual Destiny mission to help you acquire the exotic Class Items.
