After their victories on the first day of the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta, all DarkZero Esports, Spacestation Gaming, and Team Bliss have qualified for the Six Invitational 2024.
The first of the three victories came out of the DarkZero Esports' game against Knights. Playing on Nighthaven Labs, the purple organization secured 20 SI Points extra after a one-sided 7-2 win.
The team's captain Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski was the best player of the match with a SiegeGG rating of 1.46 and a K/D of 10-6 (+4). Meanwhile, Richard "blk" Rodríguez kept Knights hopes alive with an entry record of 4-0 (+4) and a SiegeGG rating of 1.19. Unfortunately, Knights' mistakes during the match cost them the series.
Later on, Spacestation Gaming became the second North American team of the day to qualify for the Six Invitational 2024. Led by Jack "J9O" Burkard, the Americans defeated Alpha Atheris on Skyscraper by 7-3.
Last but not least, Team Bliss also secured a spot at the Six Invitational 2024 after upsetting Wolves Esports on Chalet with an 8-6 victory. The Oceanian team came back from a 3-6 as they won the match after securing five back-to-back rounds.
