Following the conclusion of the Brazil League Last Chance Qualifiers, Ubisoft held the official BLAST R6 Major Atlanta Phase 1 draw to determine the shape of the four initial groups.

As we now know the 24 teams that will compete in Atlanta, here's a brief preview of what to expect from each group!

Group A

Ninjas in Pyjamas will be Group A's clear favorites as they share the group with SANDBOX Gaming, Crest Gaming Lst, and Geekay Esports.

While the South Koreans count with years of experience on their backs, the MENA League roster could break into the group's top two after going flawless in their region. They will make an international debut in Atlanta, as well as Crest Gaming Lst.

Group B

Two international debutants from APAC in Bleed Esports and Talon Esports will meet in Group B. Meanwhile, CYCLOPS athlete gaming and LOS oNe are the favorites to move to Phase 2.

All eyes will be set on Bleed Esports, as the team from the Red Dot must get at least a third place in Group B to keep their Six Invitational 2024 hopes alive.

Group C

The Six Invitational 2023 champions, G2 Esports, will share Group C with DarkZero Esports, FURY, and Knights.

Although G2 Esports and DarkZero Esports are the favorites to make it to Phase 2, the back-to-back Asian champions, FURY, and Knights could certainly produce an upset.

Group D

Last but not least, Wolves Esports and Spacestation Gaming are the favorites to make it out of Group D. Curiously enough, the European roster shared Group D with Team Bliss at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen.

Finally, Alpha Atheris will try to sneak into Phase 2 alongside the Six Invitational 2021 champion João "Kamikaze" Gomes.
