CAG Osaka Reload

The BLAST R6 APAC 2025 Major Munich Qualifiers allowed fans all over the world to see some of the best teams in the region clash for a chance to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Munich. Back then, CAG Osaka claimed the qualifier's first seed after a one-sided victory against Weibo Gaming.

Exactly two months after the Japanese's victory all eyes will roll to Australia as six of the best teams in the continent will meet in Sydney, Australia, to claim a new regional champion at the BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025.

Location and venue

The BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025 will take place in Sydney, Australia. The matches will be played in Sydney's Fortress, located in Central Park Mall.

Format

The BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025 will consist of a double-elimination bracket. However, with six teams in the competition, BLAST have created a special bracket structure to fit all of the teams. All of the matches in the BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025 will be BO3 series.

To understand how the double-elimination bracket will work, it's important to understand how rosters have been positioned according their position in their respective regional standings.

  • Seeds 1, 2, and 3: Top seeds from APAC North, Asia, and Oceania leagues
  • Seed 4: Second seed with the most points
  • Seeds 5 and 6: Remaining two second seeds

Following this seeding system, seeds one, two, and three, including BNK FEARX, Weibo Gaming, and ENTERPRISE Esports, have been placed in the Upper Bracket. They have been joined by Elevate, the best second seed after finishing the season with 32 points — Chiefs and CAG Osaka finished the season with 28 and 27 points, respectively. The Australian and the Japanese sides will clash in the first round of the Lower Bracket.

Dates

The BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025 will be played between December 11 and December 14. Here's when each round will take place:

December 11

On December 11, CAG Osaka and Chiefs will meet in the first match of the Lower Bracket. Meanwhile, the top four seeds will clash in the Upper Bracket Semifinals.

  • 1 PM AEDT: Lower Bracket Round 1
  • 4 PM AEDT: Upper Bracket Semifinal 1
  • 7 PM AEDT: Upper Bracket Semifinal 2

December 12

On December 12, the next two rounds of the Lower Bracket will be played. The teams that won their Upper Bracket Semifinals the day before will be allowed to rest and spectate the teams from the distance.

However, there's a catch. As there are only six teams in the competition, the Lower Bracket only includes a Quarterfinal and a Semifinal game. To solve this, the "worst" loser from the Upper Bracket Semifinals will fall to the Lower Bracket Quarterfinal game and will play against the winner of the clash between CAG Osaka and Chiefs. Meanwhile, the "best" loser will fall to the Lower Bracket Semifinal.

  • 4 PM AEDT: Lower Bracket Round 2
  • 7 PM AEDT: Lower Bracket Round 3

December 13

On December 13, Upper Bracket teams will be back in action as they will meet in the Upper Bracket Final. The winner will move to the grand final while the loser will fall to the Lower Bracket Final, which will be played on the very same day.

  • 4 PM AEDT: Upper Bracket Final
  • 7 PM AEDT: Lower Bracket Final

December 14

On December 14, the two remaining teams in the competition will meet in the grand finals of the BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025 for a chance to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 and earn 45,000€.

Prize pool and Six Invitational 2026 race

The BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025 feature a prize pool of €100,000 — approximately USD $116,000. In addition, qualification for the Six Invitational 2026 will be on the line: not only will the winner secure a spot in Paris, but the remaining four highest-ranked teams will also earn SI Points.

Here's a complete breakdown of how the prize pool and SI Points will be divided across the competitors:

  • 1st: 45,000€ and Six Invitational 2026 spot
  • 2nd: 25,000€ and 700 SI Points
  • 3rd: 15,000€ and 400 SI Points
  • 4th: 8,000€ and 100 SI Points
  • 5th: 4,500€ and 50 SI Points
  • 6th: 2,500€

Therefore, this will be the penultimate chance for teams to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026. The final spot awarded to the region will be given to the winner of the APAC Six Invitational 2026 Last Chance Qualifier.

Teams

Here's a look at the rosters that will travel to Sydney in December and compete for the chance to become APAC champions.

BNK FEARX

BNK FEARX EWC 2025

BNK FEARX's season was put to jeopardy after the South Koreans failed to qualify for the APAC 2025 Major Munich Qualifier. With a total tally of 350 SI Points and without the chance of adding more in Germany, the yellow roster must perform well in Sydney to secure a Six Invitational 2026 spot either by winning the Regional Finals or by securing a great amount of SI Points, giving them a realistic shot at a Global Standings' Top 11 finish.

If that weren't to be the case, the South Korean roster would have to play for the region's last available Six Invitational 2026 spot at the APAC 2025 Six Invitational 2026 Last Chance Qualifiers.

Weibo Gaming

Weibo Gaming EWC 2025

Out of the six teams that will compete in the BLAST R6 APAC Regional Finals 2025, Weibo Gaming are in the most comfortable position in terms of a potential Six Invitational 2026 qualification. The Asian mix won back-to-back Asia League 2025 stages, meaning they currently top the Global Standings with 650 SI Points alongside FURIA.

In the recently played APAC 2025 Major Munich Qualifier, the Asian lineup finished in second place only behind CAG Osaka. Considering their previous regional results as well as the fact they could add more SI Points to their tally in Munich, Weibo Gaming are in a very solid position.

ENTERPRISE Esports

ENTERPRISE Esports EWC 2025

Similar to Weibo Gaming, ENTERPRISE Esports are in a comfortable position after having gathered 500 SI Points so far. A strong performance in the Regional Finals would see them easily claiming a spot to compete in Paris next year.

The Australian-majority side have been evolving across the months. In just half a year, the team has gone from achieving promotion to becoming the best team in the region. After playing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, the team will have a second chance to show what they are capable of in Munich.

CAG Osaka

CAG Osaka Reload

CAG Osaka's season has been a roller coaster of emotions and results. The team's second-place finish in RE:L0:AD was just an example of what the team's potential. After over ten different international appearances, the Cyclops are one of the most experienced rosters in Siege's esports circuit. Still, the issues faced in Stage 1 are hard to ignore as they reduced their chances to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026 through the Global Standings.

Fortunately for the Japanese, the addition of Taichi "DD" Shintani, who's currently in the team as a player-coach, got the Cyclops back on track. Their victory in Stage 1 was followed by a first-place finish in APAC's Munich Major qualifier following back-to-back wins against ENTERPRISE Esports, Dplus, and Weibo Gaming twice. So, despite having to start from the Lower Bracket, the Japanese are one of the favorites to win in Sydney.

Elevate

Hugzord Elevate

Elevate's Brazilian project is an ambitious one. The team were off to a great start after reaching RE:L0:AD's quarterfinals. However, after missing out on the Siege X Esports World Cup 2025 and the BLAST R6 Major Munich, it's fair to say the roster's overall results have been disappointing.

Since Elevate's debut in RE:L0:AD, the team has made three changes and only two players remain from the team's initial roster, including Gustavo "Psycho" Rigal and Ronaldo "ion" Osawa. The current lineup also includes the highly-experienced players Enzo "Rappz" Aziz and Pablo "resetz" Oliveira, as well as the Brazilian talent Vinicius "Stemp" Stempnhak. All in all, the team has grown in terms of experience; but with only 200 SI Points they must get a good result in Sydney in order to qualify for the Six Invitational 2026. Otherwise, the team will have to fight for it in the region's Last Chance Qualifier.

Chiefs ESC

Odah Chiefs

Chiefs completes the list as the fifth seed in the competition only above CAG Osaka. The Australians are in a tough spot as they will have to beat the Japanese to keep their Six Invitational 2026 Global Standings Top 11 hopes alive.

While this sounds like a difficult task for the Oceanic roster, it's fair to say Chiefs' progression over the months has been very positive. The team's Stage 2 performance was great and with the additions of Brendan "Brendo" Sage and Mitchell "Sageon" Sage, the lineup now includes three former Team Bliss players. Their experience and undeniable talent, mixed with the fact they will play in front of a home crowd, are some factors that can't be ignored.
