A new year is starting and many Black Ops 6 (and Warzone) players will wonder what's coming with Season 2. The second post-launch season will arrive in the new year and while we are still waiting for an official reveal, there are some things we can speculate.

Here is everything we know about the upcoming season as we wait for any rumors, leaks, or official details.

Release date

According to the in-game battle pass countdown, Black Ops 6 Season 2 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, January 28. The new content should go live at 9:00 am PT (5:00 pm GMT).

The new season will last around eight weeks, with a significant midseason update dropping in the middle to add all the Season 2 reloaded content.

What can we expect?

The season should follow the usual format, bringing new weapons, maps for multiplayer, operators, and game modes. We still don't know the specifics, so we have to wait until an official announcement or any leaks.

Aside from that, Activision promised that improvements to the RICOCHET anti-cheat system will arrive during this season. The cheating situation in Ranked Play has been a hot topic in the past few weeks, and Activision responded with a blog post.

In said post, they promised to release updates to the kernel-level driver and the server-side systems of the anti-cheat during Seasons 2 and 3.

Once we have more details about the changes and new features coming in this second post-launch season, we will update this article to add all the information.
