The Finnish star capped off an impressive event with a 1.39 Rating during the Grand Final matchup against Evil Geniuses, which G2 won by a score of 3-0. With that performance during the match, Kantoraketti (Kanto) pushed his event rating to 1.29, higher than that of any of his teammates.

G2 took home the Six Major Paris title with ease

During the Six Major Paris, G2’s run was as clean as it could have been as they cruised to a record-fourth Grand Final victory as a team. We have seen this squad in numerous finals, taking home the Season 4 and 5 Pro League titles, and the Six Invitational 2018. The Paris Major was no different, with G2 bringing yet another championship home.

During their run at this Major, they lost only one map, a loss that came during the group stage -- and a loss that Fabian claimed to have been to lull their opponents into a false sense of security on that map.

Throughout the group stage, Kanto was outperformed by his teammates, but he came alive during the playoffs. There, he shined with a 1.49 Rating in the seven maps which G2 played. In addition, he displayed his consistency and effectiveness as a fragger with the best kills per round ratio of 1.12. He was one of only three players to hold a KPR over 1.0, a stat which has an average of 0.70 among the players. Rounding out the tournament, Kanto led G2 to victory with the highest rating in the match (1.39), the best KOST (.75), and the most kills (25).
