A lot fell into place on the last day of the NAL.

After a nervy last day of the NAL that could have seen them relegated, DarkZero Esports have qualified for the Six Invitational 2022 as well as the Six Sweden Major.

Alongside them, Spacestation Gaming, FURIA Esports, and Team Empire have also booked their berths due to the results in the NAL and EUL.

DarkZero are guaranteed to have 845 SI Points at minimum, which has ensured their place in the top 16 teams in the Global Standings. SSG and FURIA will have at least 805 SI Points, while Empire will have at least 800.

This marks a total of 12 teams confirmed to be in attendance at SI 2022 already, with four more set to be confirmed after the Six Major Sweden through the Global Standings, while the final four will come from one qualifier in each global region (NA, EU, LATAM, and APAC).

Canadian will go to the Six Invitational 2022 under a fourth banner.

This will be DarkZero's third appearance at the Six Invitational, and new team captain Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski's sixth. Canadian has attended every single SI so far, and has won the title in 2017 and 2020.

SSG, meanwhile, will be eager to return title-winning form after a crippled campaign at SI 2021, where Ninjas in Pyjamas overcame their 2020 heartbreak to win. NiP, in opposite form to SSG in the BR6, finally looked like their world champion selves at the Copa Elite Six and will need to keep improving to mount a credible title defense.

Team Empire will be hoping for the stars to finally align for them as well, having won a Six Major and a Pro League title, but only having been grand finalists at their first Six Invitational.

FURIA, meanwhile, will look to SI 2022 as a culmination of their efforts in Year 6, with the squad going from near-relegation to an interntational force.
