According to a post from Ubisoft esports director Wei Yue, a tribute to iconic caster Michael "KiXSTAr" Stockley has been added to the Presidential Plane map.
One of KiXSTAr's early viral moments came from that map. He notched a mechanically impressive ace from that specific room in the game's ranked playlist.
KiXSTAr was the first professional player that went on to be a caster, quickly becoming the voice of the Rainbow Six Siege esports scene. His knowledge, dry, direct sense of humor, and analytical descriptions quickly became the soundtrack to competitive Rainbow Six Siege for many fans.
In addition to casting and playing professionally, KiXSTAr was one of the game's biggest streamers. There was not a single aspect of Rainbow Six Siege that KiXSTAr did not impact in some way.

KiXSTAr died Oct. 11, 2021 in a car accident.
His loss was grieved by every single corner of the wider Rainbow Six Siege community, and his absence is felt by those he touched in his short 24 years of life to this day.
In lieu of flowers, KiXSTAr's family asked that donations be made to a local food bank under Michael's name.
