It's time for a new LTM

A brand-new Fortnite LTM is on the horizon as Epic Games has announced the Day of Doom, a unique PvP experience in which 32 players will duke it out in two teams of 16, one as Doom’s Henchmen and the other playing as the Allies of the Avengers.

As the name suggests, the limited-time event won't be around for long and will likely include exclusive cosmetics and a ton of XP to help your Chapter 5 Season 4 battle pass grind.

Fortnite Day of Doom LTM start date

Epic Games announced that the Day of Doom event will kick off on September 17. There's no end date announced for the LTM, but based on previous events, they usually last from two to three weeks.

How to play the Fortnite Day of Doom LTM

The Day of Doom LTM is a 32-player PvP experience. It will split the players into two teams of 16. One will play as Doom’s Henchman and the other as Allies of the Avengers.

Each team has different objectives:

  • Doom’s Henchmen: the goal is to collect all six Arcane Artifacts. Once you’ve collected them all, your adversaries will no longer be able to respawn
  • Allies of the Avengers: the goal is to take down Doom’s forces before they collect the Artifacts. Doom’s Henchmen have a large number of respawns altogether. You'll have to deplete the respawns before they collect the artifacts

Fortnite Day of Doom LTM rewards

At the moment, there are no known rewards for the Day of Doom LTM. It's expected that Epic Games adds a few cosmetic rewards and quests that grant XP.
