Following the calendar of announcements for the week before COD Next 2025, Treyarch has released the trailer for Black Ops 7's Zombies mode. The trailer focuses on the launch map for this mode: Ashes of the Damned.
As previously rumored, this is a map inspired by Black Ops 2's Tranzit map, having several POIs and allowing the players to traverse between these points on foot or using a new Wonder Vehicle called Ol' Tessie, which is a pickup truck with an Abomination head attached to the front.
Some areas of the map are directly based on POIs from the original Tranzit map, like Vandorn Farm or Exit 115, but others are completely new, like Blackwater Lake.
A new enemy makes its grand entrance in the trailer, and yes, we are talking about the new Zombie bear, whose official name is Zursa. Other things we can see are the new perk, Wisp Tea, and the map's new wonder weapon, the Necrofluid Gauntlet.
In case you haven't seen it or if you want to take a closer look at it, here is the gameplay trailer for Black Ops 7 Zombies mode:
The trailer comes with a small surprise at the end, revealing that Zombies' Survival mode will be available in the upcoming beta. This is the rumored classic mode that leaked not long ago, where players will be able to jump into a portion of the Ashes of the Damned map and survive.
According to the leaks, players will start out with a pistol, the points system will be similar to how it was in Black Ops 3, and some mechanics like exfil or the armor system will be disabled in this mode, giving players an experience more similar to the Zombies from old titles.
Black Ops 7 is scheduled to come out on Friday, November 14th, for current-gen consoles (Xbox Series X|S and PS5), last-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One), and PC through Steam, Battle.net, and the Xbox Store. You can read more about the game and its main details here.
