Nuketown 2025 has been confirmed for Black Ops 7, along with some Season 1 details

Nuketown is back... again!

Black Ops 7 Nuketown 2025

COD Next 2025 was filled with announcements, and one of them was the confirmation that a Nuketown map is coming to Black Ops 7.

As is the case with every title in the subfranchise, the new game will have its own version of the classic map that was originally introduced in the first Black Ops. This version will be titled Nuketown 2025 and will be a remastered version of the Nuketown we saw in Black Ops 2.

The map will be practically the same, but with updated textures and resources to make it look better. You can even see the same Nuketown sign on the outside of the map, with the same style and colors.

During the COD Next 2025 livestream, developers confirmed that the map will be added shortly after launch. Based on last year's format, we can expect the map to drop a week or two after Black Ops 7's release.

Treyarch also confirmed that between launch and the end of Season 1, they will release 7 additional 6v6 maps (including Nuketown 2025), a brand-new Zombies map, and two Zombies Survival maps, making it one of the biggest seasons in terms of content yet.

In a now-deleted tweet, leaker TheGhostOfHope previously hinted on X (formerly Twitter) that the first post-launch Zombies map will be the rumored post-World War II New York map, where the Axis Powers won the war.

We will have to wait until after launch to know more about the new maps coming to the game for both multiplayer and Zombies.
