According to Rainbow Six Siege's esports official X account, Team Falcons have had to "request" an "emergency stand-in player to compete at this event."
While the identity of the player is still unknown, the Team Falcons member couldn't travel to Brazil due to "a combination of visa and medical issues."
The player chosen to stand in for Team Falcons has been Victor "Bersa" Bruschini, who played under Marlon "Twister" Mello's orders in FURIA Esports.
It's worth mentioning that Bersa was dropped by FURIA Esports shortly after the roster qualified for the Six Invitational 2021. Now, three years later, the Brazilian will make his Six Invitational debut in his home region.
Since he departed from FURIA Esports and after his short spell in Atheris Esports, the Brazilian has been one of the well-known faces of the region's Tier 2. Recently, the former FURIA Esports player won the Liga START for Atualizado Team and finished in second place in the RUSH SERIES Summer under LOS Academy.
