PSG Talon have unveiled the signing of Yoo "yass" Sang-hoon only three months after the South Korean decided to retire from the professional scene. His last international performance was at the Six Invitational 2024.
Despite having made his professional debut at the South Korean PL Season 9, the 28-year-old's fame comes from his performances for DWG KIA, which was later rebranded as DPlus KIA. His best international results came in Mexico and Sweden, where he reached the quarter-finals and the semi-finals respectively. Additionally, he competed in various editions of the Six Invitational.
Following his signing for PSG Talon, yass will compete for a team that's not DPlus KIa for the first time since joining the mint organization, in January 2021.
It's worth mentioning that the decision comes as a shock for many people as PSG Talon reached the BLAST R6 Major Manchester Top 12 after winning the South Korea League 2024 Stage 2. Despite the team's recent results, Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten's approach to the next stage seems to be slightly different.
