Virtus.pro have qualified for the Six Invitational 2024 Upper Bracket semifinals after defeating Ninjas in Pyjamas by 8-6, 7-0 on Kafe and Bank, respectively. Danila "Dan" Dontsov was the best player of the series with a SiegeGG rating of 1.71 after he obtained 18 kills on Kafe, which were crucial in Virtus.pro's victory on Kafe.
The Russians are back in the Top 6 of a Six Invitational two years after finishing in second place in the Six Invitational 2022. Back then, the Russian core played for Team Empire. Unfortunately for them, the players missed out on the Six Invitational 2023. Now, the players are showing everyone they still have hunger of lifting the hammer for the first time.
With this result, Virtus.pro move to the Upper Bracket semifinals, where they will play against the winner of the series between DarkZero Esports and Spacestation Gaming. Meanwhile, Ninjas in Pyjamas have been pushed to the Lower Bracket, where they will play against the winner of the match between FearX and w7m esports.
