Rainbow Six Siege's European off-season for Year 4 will be called R6 South Breach. It will be played between November 22, 2023, and January 21, 2024.
R6 South Breach will be divided into two phases, according to Ubisoft's official blog post. Here's everything you need to know about them.
Phase 1
Phase 1 will have two qualifiers. The first one will be exclusive for rosters that competed in last year's French League, PG Nationals, and Spain Nationals. The best two teams in the qualifier will move to Phase 2.
Meanwhile, teams with three players based in the European southern region (which includes Spain, Italy, and France) will be allowed to compete in their own closed qualifier. The two best teams will advance to Phase 2.
At the same time, the rest of the European teams will have the chance to qualify for the R6 South Breach through an external qualifier.
Finally, Europe League teams will be in the fight to make it to the competition in an exclusive qualifier.
Phase 2
A champion for R6 South Breach will be crowned in Phase 2, which will have a double-elimination bracket.
Teams from the Europe League qualifier will get the first two seeds, while the teams from the regional leagues' qualifier will get the next two seeds.
Phase 2 dates have already been announced:
- Jan. 5 to Jan. 7: Upper and Lower brackets.
- Jan. 12 to Jan. 14: Semifinals.
- Jan. 20: Upper Bracket Grand Final.
- Jan. 21: Grand Final.
