Here is all the relevant information you need to know about the game's newest tank.
Release date
Hazard will be released at the start of Season 14 of Overwatch 2. The new season is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 am PT (7:00 pm GMT).
Before that, players will get a chance to try the hero in a new test weekend that will take place from November 22 to 25. Just like what happened with Mauga, Venture, and Juno, the hero will be available to pick only on Quick Play.

Abilities
Here is Hazard's abilities kit along with the official descriptions so you can get an idea of how his playstyle will be:
- Bonespur (Primary fire): A close to midrange shotgun that fires bursts of spikes and can poke better than other tanks.
- Spike Guard (Secondary fire): blocks incoming damage from the front, but at the same time he will retaliate with a volley of Vanadium spikes to nearby enemies while regenerating his ammo.
- Jagged Wall: Creates a spiky wall of Vanadium that will stick to any surface, including walls and ceilings, that damages and knocks back opponents that touch it.
- Violent Leap: Activating this ability sends Hazard jumping towards an area, and if you press Shift or Melee during the leap Hazard will unleash a devastating slash in front of him.
- Vault: Scale short walls, like his Jagged Wall, and grab ledges.
- Downpour: Rains down spikes across an area in front of Hazard.
