Season 14 of Overwatch 2 is next and we can expect several interesting additions. Even though it's still a few weeks away, Blizzard has already revealed (and shown) several details about what's coming this time.
We have gathered all the confirmed information about the new season so you can read and get up to speed.
Release date
Overwatch 2 Season 14 is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, December 10 at 11:00 am PT (7:00 pm GMT).
A new update will add all the content, and PC players can preload it a few days before its arrival. On the other hand, the preload for console players will begin hours before the season launches.
The season will follow the traditional format, lasting around eight weeks and having a significant mid-season patch.
New hero: Hazard
The biggest addition for this new season will be a new hero called Hazard. He is a new tank from Scotland and will be the 42nd playable character in the game.

Other details
Here are other minor details revealed so far that we would like to point out so you don't overlook anything:
- A new mythic skin will be available through the battle pass and many players expect it to be for a tank, since the past four seasons we´ve only seen mythic for damage and support heroes.
- A 6v6 playtest with the current Overwatch 2 content is set to take place during this season.
- The event Winter Wonderland will probably return along with a new set of Christmas/winter-themed cosmetics.
