Operation Twin Shells

Ubisoft has released the first update to the game since the launch of Operation Twin Shells, which includes user experience and gameplay bug fixes.

Although the changes that have been introduced don't involve operator balancing, the fixes are focused on some issues regarding Skopós, including her unusual position during the Victory Celebration.

However, players will be glad to know that Ubisoft has introduced a fix to solve the stutter issues that happened in the game while using the DRX12.

Additionally, fixes have been introduced to solve the invisibility issue that affected Fuze, Thunderbird, Clash, and Aruni while using their esports bundles.

Patch size

First of all, it's important to mention that today's patch size is quite small compared to the size of Operation Twin Shells. Here's a look at the patch size for each platform:

  • Ubisoft Connect: 1.15 GB
  • Steam: 669 MB
  • Xbox One: 1.34 GB
  • Xbox Series X: 1.55 GB
  • PlayStation 4: 1.89 GB
  • PlayStation 5: 1.49 GB

Bug fixes

  • Thunderbird's Kona Station could still be used after being affected by Thatcher's EMPs and Tubarao's Zoto Canister while using Thunderbird's Elite Bundle.
  • The drone could see through the wall in 2F Yellow Stairs on Consulate.
  • Skopós shells could stop operators from vaulting through windows.
  • Fuze, Thunderbird, Clash, and Aruni could turn invisible while using some esports bundles.
  • Skopós would not die despite shooting the robot's face in certain Arcade game modes.
  • Skopós idle V10-Phanteon Shells would spawn in T-Pose.
  • Stutter issues while using DRX12.
  • Crash during start-up with older GPUs on DX12.
