Wolves Esports have taken a point from w7m esports, which has guaranteed them a top-two finish in Group C and a quarter-final berth in the playoffs.

Previously, Wolves beat Oxygen (7-4), and GG twice (8-7, 8-6), but lost to w7m (3-7). They still have the rest of the game against w7m as well as a match against OxG to go, but are locked into their top-two spot.

This result is Wolves' best to date after they exited both the Charlotte and Sweden Majors in 9-12th place and failed to qualify for the Six Invitational.

This also makes them the third European team to qualify for the playoffs, where they will be joined by G2 Esports and Rogue from Europe, FaZe Clan, FURIA Esports, and w7m Esports from LATAM, XSET from NA, and Elevate from APAC.

As for Oxygen, this is a rather disappointing result after they finished the Charlotte Major in the semi-finals. However, they were set to replace Gabriel "LaXInG" Mirelez after the event, no matter their result.

This means that the final game of the day between OxG and Wolves will be LaXInG's last on the team, ending a four-year partnership with Davide "FoxA" Bucci, the longest in North America.
