Wolves Esports have qualified for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup after beating Into the Breach on Clubhouse and Bank.
With this result, the French-speaking roster followed the footsteps of Team BDS, who had become the first European team to qualify for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, following their victory against Team Secret.
It's worth mentioning that Wolves Esports made two roster changes shortly after missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, the first international top-flight event they missed since joining the English Premier League side. After benching Bastien "BiBoo" Dulac and Axel "Shiinka" Freisberg, the team added the stand-ins Lasmooo and Asa to the squad.
To the viewers' surprise, the team's new members instantly adapted to the team and qualified for Europe's Closed Qualifier. There, the squad defeated G2 Esports in the quarter-finals, a result that was followed by today's victory over Into the Breach.
Europe's final spot to compete in Tom Clancy's Esports World Cup will be decided tomorrow as the winner of the clash between Team Secret and Into the Breach will be able to fly to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
