Wildcard have parted ways with Franklyn "VertcL" Cordero and Nathanial "Rampy" Duvall ahead of the start of the second split of the season.

The players' last performance for the team was at ELEMENT THREE. While VertcL was replaced by the former Astralis player Chris "Spiff" Park during the playoffs, Rampy's last match for Wildcard was the grand final clash against Mkers.

Both players joined Wildcard in March 2024 as the organization completely changed the starting five compared to the previous campaign.

Despite the team climbing to third place on the North America League 2024 Stage 1 standings after the fifth playday, a poor end to the group stage saw the roster missing out on the top six due to having a worse round difference than Spacestation Gaming.

In the region's Last Chance Qualifiers to compete at the BLAST R6 Major Manchester, the team lost against Soniqs in the quarterfinals after back-to-back overtime defeats on Bank and Clubhouse.

It's worth keeping in mind that the summer transfer window closed out on August 21 at 9 AM CET, according to BLAST's Rulebook for the 2024 Season. With Wildcard playing in the Wildcard RESTART 2024, which will kick off on August 23, it will be the fans' first chance to see Wildcard's new roster in action.
