Verdansk is making a comeback to Warzone, so many probably wonder when the map is exactly coming back. The launch map from the first Warzone was removed when Caldera arrived in the first title in December 2021.

Ever since, a great many people have been requesting its return and this awaited dream was confirmed during the COD Next 2024 event. As far as a specific date for it, here is everything we know so far.

When is Verdansk returning to Warzone?

One of the biggest announcements from COD Next 2024 was the confirmation that Verdansk will come back to Warzone during the Black OPps 6 post-launch cycle.

This came after months of rumor about it, but a release date wasn't provided at that time. Now, a few months later, popular leaker TheGhostofHope has stated that the map will return at the start of Season 3 for Black Ops 6 and Warzone.

With Season 2 starting on January 28, the third season could be released around March 25, as that is exactly eight weeks after the start of the second season.

New POIs

TheGhostOfHope not only leaked the release date for the map, but also teased that the multiplayer map Fringe will be integrated.

Fringe is originally a Black Ops 3 map and has never been remastered or appeared on other titles as of now. The addition of this new map means this will be a new iteration of Verdansk, featuring new POIs such as this one.
