The AMES 85 might not be on top of the meta on either Black Ops 6 or Warzone, but it is still a reliable rifle with an easy-to-control recoil. This means you can get constant results and rely on it for longer-distance engagements.

Best AMES 85 Loadout
Here are the AMES 85 loadouts we recommend for Black Ops 6 multiplayer and Warzone along with a few extra details:
Black Ops 6 loadout
- Optic: Otero Micro Dot
- Muzzle: Ported Compensator
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag I
- Stock: Heavy Stock
As you can see, this build requires six attachments so you must use the Gunfighter Wildcard in your class if you will replicate it exactly as it is.
Warzone loadout
- Optic: Merlin Reflex
- Muzzle: Ported Compensator
- Barrel: Long Barrel
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Extended Mag II
- Rear Grip: Commando Grip
- Stock: Balanced Stock
- Fire Mod: Recoil Springs
The Warzone class uses all attachment slots except for the laser as we feel it will be a disadvantage to have one on in real practice since it can reveal your location.
