What teams will compete at Siege X's Esports World Cup 2025?

The teams are already in Riyadh.

FURIA Esports RE:L0:AD

Following the conclusion of the first stage in the BLAST R6 2025 regional leagues, it's now time to drive our attention on the Esports World Cup. Although the Saudi Arabian competition doesn't have an impact on the Six Invitational 2026 Global Standings, the competition's prize pool and importance towards the EWC Club Championship is undeniable.

With 16 teams in the competition, it surely is hard to keep track of every team's performance. That's why we will have a look at all of the rosters in the tournament:

Europe and MENA

The Europe and MENA League 2025 is the most represented competition in the Siege X Esports World Cup. This is because last year's winner plays in this region. As a reward, the old continent gets an extra spot. The teams that will represent the EML will be G2 Esports, Team Falcons, Team Secret, Virtus.pro, and Gen.G Esports.

G2 Esports

G2 Esports

Roster: Alem4o, Doki, BlaZ, Loira, Stompn, Ramalho (Coach), Cameram4n (Assistant Coach)

G2 Esports headed to the 2025 season with a huge challenge to face: solving their communication struggles. The IGL jigsaw seemed unsolvable, after the team had dealed with problems for a whole year.

In RE:L0:AD, G2 Esports tried Roberto "Loira" Camargo as the team's IGL. Unfortunately for the samurai, the roster's performance didn't improve as expected. Shortly after the conclusion of the event, the team parted ways with Aleksi "UUNO" Työppönen. To replace the Finn, the European powerhouse surprised everyone with the signing of the American talent Zack "Stompn" Lamb. So, instead of signing someone with leadership and experience, they added a young, skilled fragger to the team.

Somehow, the team's decision paid off. The Six Mexico Major champion Karl "Alem4o" Zarth retook the IGL role, and the rest of the players quickly adapted to the team — even the 18-year-old rookie Stompn. Eventually, the samurai would end the stage with eight victories and only one loss in the group stage, results that were followed by BO3 wins against Virtus.pro, Team Secret, and Team Falcons.

Team Falcons

Team Falcons

Roster: BriD, Shaiiko, LikEfac, Solotov, Yuzus, Stooflex (Head Coach), Julio (Coach), Eaglemess (Analyst)

The current Siege Esports World Cup champions will be in Riyadh once again, this time while playing for Team Falcons. Despite a shaky stage — considering the team's performance in the 2024 campaign — Team Falcons are one of the favorites to win the competition, especially keeping in mind both Loïc "BriD" Chongthep and Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu have won three times in Saudi Arabia, with Théo "LikEfac" Mariano twice and the former MNM Gaming duo Fatih "Solotov" Türker and Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard once.

Team Secret

Roster: Savage, Jume, Adrian, Mowwwgli, NoaUrz, Twister (Head Coach), Vivas (Assistant Coach)

Team Secret proved in 2024 they had the potential to make deep runs at international tournaments. In fact, in Manchester and Montreal, the team did extremely well with 3-0 and 3-1 runs in the Swiss Stages, and were eliminated from both tournaments by the two times BLAST R6 Major grand finalits and Six Invitational grand finalist, Team BDS — now Team Falcons.

Despite the team's regional consistency, which awarded the team with consecutive international appearances, the team is yet to reach an international semifinal. In Boston, the team couldn't survive to the group stage. Will it be different in Riyadh?

Virtus.pro

Roster: JoyStiCK, ShepparD, dan, p4sh4, Always, Karzheka (Coach), Zheka (Analyst)

Although Virtus.pro is a menace in Europe's top flight, it's hard to say what to expect from the Bears every time they head to an international competition. After a third-place finish in the Six Invitational 2024, the Russians finished in eighth place in last season's first stage, which was followed by a Top 4 finish at the BLAST R6 Major Montreal. In Boston, at the Six Invitational 2025, the Europeans were eliminated after back-to-back BO3 defeats against RazaH Company and FaZe Clan.

In this season's first split, the Russians have finished in fourth only behind G2 Esports, Team Falcons, and Team Secret. The team's best player was Pavel "p4sh4" Kosenko, with a SiegeGG rating of 1.29 in the group stage. He was also the best player in the first phase of the EML Stage 1.

Gen.G Esports

Roster: Asa, AzoXx, DEADSHT, Nayqo, SkyZs, Akhdar (Head Coach), Bolt (Assistant Coach)

During 2024, while playing for ENCE, the French-speaking lineup became a bottom-half roster: they would always finish outside the Top 6 and would miss out on the European playoffs to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major. However, in BO3 games at the Last Chance Qualifier, the team would always get some good results, and collected back-to-back grand final appearances. Unfortunately for them, both finished with G2 Esports taking the region's last BLAST R6 Major spot.

At the Malta Cyber Series: VIII, the team was seen playing for the first time with Jimmy "DEADSHT" Vojtasik and Rahian "Asa" Ramos together in the lineup. Although ENCE had already announced the players would be released after the tournament, the players managed to leave with a trophy as they beat Fnatic in the grand final. This possibly made them look like a good investment opportunity, especially ahead of the Esports World Cup, and, eventually, Gen.G Esports signed them up.

In the Europe and MENA League 2025 Stage 1, Gen.G Esports didn't look special. However, they managed to get the job done by being slightly better than the bottom four teams, which saw them finally reach the playoffs. After only winning four rounds against Team Falcons and winning one map against Virtus.pro, while also pushing the Russians to overtimes on Border and Clubhouse, the golden roster qualified for Riyadh after a 2-1 win against MACKO Esports.

North America League

The North America League 2025 will send four teams to the Siege X Esports World Cup, including Spacestation Gaming, DarkZero Esports, Shopify Rebellion, and Oxygen Esports. Here's a look at the four rosters:

Spacestation Gaming

Roster: Fultz, J9O, Benjamaster, Ashn, Nuers, Callout (Head Coach), TchubZ (Coach), Alo (Assistant Coach)

Spacestation Gaming's performance at the Six Invitational 2025 filled fans with hope as the team looked to be on the right track ahead of the release of Siege X. Despite the result in Boston, the astronauts dropped Roman "Forrest" Breaux as they signed Ethan "Nuers" James. Moreover, Spacestation added the Six Mexico Major champion Arthur "TchubZ" Figueira to the team's coaching staff. Overall, it seemed a great upgrade.

Despite some defeats here and there, Spacestation looked strong throughout the group stage, as they finished in third place only behind Shopify Rebellion and DarkZero Esports. However, the team's playoff run began with a surprising 0-2 defeat against Wildcard, which pushed the astronauts to the Lower Bracket. It was then where Spacestation stole the show.

After the team's disappointing performance against Wildcard, the astronauts took down M80 to qualify for the Siege X Esports World Cup. That same day, the team sneaked in the Top 3 after a 2-1 win against Oxygen Esports. Then, against all of the odds, the team won North America's first stage after back-to-back 2-1 wins against Shopify Rebellion and DarkZero Esports, showing great strength. If the team manages to keep this momentum, the astronauts could be a threat to consider in Riyadh.

DarkZero Esports

DarkZero Esports

Roster: njr, Panbazou, Nafe, SpiriTz, CTZN, KangruKenny (Head Coach), Booshie (Analyst)

DarkZero Esports have managed to stay at the top of North America's top flight despite making important roster changes in the last few months, including the additions of Ben "CTZN" McMillan and Zachary "SpiriTz" Dionne. The purple roster finished in second place of the group stage, and, after beating Wildcard and Shopify Rebellion in the playoffs, the team finished in second place after a 1-2 defeat against Spacestation.

With SiegeGG ratings of 1.18 and 1.14, CTZN and his teammate Nick "njr" Rapier were DarkZero's best players in the North America League 2025 Stage 1. The team's first match in Riyadh will be against FaZe Clan, which will be a very difficult test for the North American lineup.

Shopify Rebellion

Roster: Canadian, Ambi, Rexen, Surf, Spoit, Supr (Coach), Veras1 (Analyst)

After not playing in RE:L0:AD, Shopify Rebellion's first official Rainbow Six Siege X match was in the North America League 2025. The team quickly stole the show in the region with the best group stage result ever seen in North America, as the lineup completed an unbeaten run with eight regulation victories and only one overtime win.

In the playoffs, Shopify Rebellion was slightly less dominant. A shaky performance against M80 ended up with the team qualifying for the Esports World Cup thanks to a 2-1 win against the green roster. However, the players were handled their first defeat of the stage as they fell against DarkZero Esports. Eventually, the team finished in third place after a 1-2 defeat against Spacestation.

Overall, Shopify Rebellion have proven to be a very consistent lineup. Now, it's time to see them playing internationally, which we haven't seen since the Six Invitational 2025.

Oxygen Esports

Roster: GMZ, Yoggah, Atom, Forrest, Gryxr, Redeemer (Coach), Kizi (Coach), Phenomene (Coach)

Oxygen Esports was arguably North America's surprise of the stage. The affiliated team survived the group stage after collecting 12 points from four wins, all of these against sides in the standings' bottom six — Team Cruelty, ENVY, LFO, and Wildcard.

After a 2-1 defeat against M80 in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals, the Americans qualified for Riyadh thanks to a 2-0 win against Wildcard. Curiously enough, Oxygen Esports also beat Wildcard to qualify for the Six Invitational 2025. Eventually, the team finished in fourth after a 1-2 defeat against Spacestation, although it could have been a 2-0 victory if they had won the second match of the series, which was a maximum overtime defeat on Border.

While it's clear that Oxygen Esports are slightly behind Spacestation, DarkZero Esports, and Shopify Rebellion, the team's international experience and recent performances shouldn't be ignored.

South America League

The South America League 2025 will send four teams to the Siege X Esports World Cup, including FURIA Esports, FaZe Clan, Ninjas in Pyjamas, and w7m esports. Here's a look at the four rosters:

FURIA Esports

FURIA Esports

Roster: FelipoX, Kheyze, HerdsZ, Jv92, nade, igoorctg (Head Coach), Abreu (Assistant Coach), Vittzzz (Analyst)

The RE:L0:AD champions finished in first place of the South America 2025 Stage 1 after a rock-solid 2-0 victory against FaZe Clan. However, despite the final result, the Black Panthers had to put blood, sweat, and tears to top the standings of the region, as a shaky group stage run was followed by a solid playoff display, which included wins against Team Liquid, w7m esports, and FaZe Clan.

Logically, the RE:L0:AD and South America League 2025 Stage 1 champions are one of the favorites to win the Siege X Esports World Cup. Last year, the Black Panthers reached the semifinals. Will the Brazilians improve their result this year?

FaZe Clan

Roster: Cyber, soulz1, Handy, KDS, VITAKING, RafadeLL (Coach), JP (Analyst)

The Six Invitational 2025 champions FaZe Clan finished in second place in the South America League 2025 Stage 1 after a 0-2 defeat against FURIA Esports in the region's grand final. However, despite the team's final result in their home region, the world champions have been the most consistent team in South America. In fact, three of the best seven players in the South America League 2025 Stage 1 where FaZe Clan players, including Jaime "Cyber" Ramos, Lucas "soulz1" Schinke, and Eduardo "KDS" Chiste, with SiegeGG ratings of 1.16, 1.13, and 1.12, respectively.

Ninjas in Pyjamas

Roster: pino, kondz, Fntzy, Hatez, Wizard, dAn (Coach)

Ninjas in Pyjamas are one of the biggest surprises of the stage. After missing out on all of the international tournaments in 2024, the team made a couple of changes as Gustavo "Wizard" Gomes returned to the lineup to replace Gustavo "Psycho" Rigal, while the team's analyst Daniel "dAn" Souza was promoted to head coach after Arthur "TchubZ" Figueira's departure.

It's fair to say the tweaks had an instant result. Against all of the odds, the shinobi managed to finish the group stage in third place. After a 2-0 win against Black Dragons, the team only needed another BO3 win to qualify for the Siege X Esports World Cup. Although the roster couldn't get the job done against FaZe Clan, the Brazilians finally secured their spot to compete in Riyadh after a 2-1 win against Team Liquid. Eventually, they clinched the region's third place after a 2-1 win over w7m esports.

w7m esports

Roster: Dodez, Dotz, L0BIN, volpz, Paluh, Norris (Coach), thug (Analyst)

The Bulls were extremely consistent in South America's group stage as they managed to lead the charge with 21 points and only two defeats, against FURIA Esports and LOUD. However, despite the team's results in the group stage, the Black Panthers pushed them to the Lower Bracket after they took a 2-0 win following back-to-back 7-5 wins on Skyscraper and Border. Fortunately for the Bulls, they managed to avoid elimination after back-to-back 8-6 wins against Black Dragons in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals.

APAC North

The APAC North 2025 only sends one team to the Siege X Esports World Cup. After only suffering one defeat and going unbeaten in the region's playoffs, the South Korean super team of BNK FEARX clinched the region's spot to compete in Riyadh.

BNK FEARX

BNK FEARX

Roster: GoodBoy, Mephi, RIN, Woogiman, coted, Dark (Coach), Nova (Analyst)

The first stage of the APAC North 2025 has seen fierce competition, with all teams being extremely close to each other; except for BNK FEARX.

The South Korean roster has been miles ahead of the rest of lineups in the region. While only three points separated Dplus, in second, and SCARZ, in sixth, the Foxes topped the group stage standings with 18 points — five ahead of the Brazilian squad. In total, the RE:L0:AD quarterfinalists only lost one game, against KINOTROPE gaming, and their overall map record consists of eleven wins and only one defeat, including back-to-back 2-0 wins against Dplus.

Considering the team's recent results and the fact they have been playing together for a long while now, it's fair to say BNK FEARX are Asia's favorites ahead of the Siege X Esports World Cup.

Asia League

The Asia League 2025 only sends one team to the Siege X Esports World Cup. The core of the former Bleed Esports and Team Joel roster, now under Weibo Gaming, will represent Southeast Asia in Riyadh.

Weibo Gaming

Roster: Ape, Hovenherst, Reeps96, SpeakEasy, Terdsta, meepeY (Head Coach), MentalistC (Assistant Coach)

Despite going through some ups and downs in the Asia League 2025, Weibo Gaming ended up taking the region's spot to compete in the Siege X Esports World Cup after defeating Elevate's Brazilian roster in the grand final.

The Asian mix dominated the league with an unbeaten group stage run, which saw them finishing in first place. However, after a 2-1 win against Soul's Heart Esport, Weibo Gaming fell to the Lower Bracket after a 1-2 defeat against Elevate. Finally, another 2-1 win against Soul's Heart Esport was followed by a one-sided win against Elevate in the grand final.

Oceania League

Just like the Asia League 2025 and the APAC North 2025, the Oceania League 2025 will send one team to the Siege X Esports World Cup. Against all of the odds, the region's Challenger Series 2025 champions ENTERPRISE Esports will represent Oceania in Riyadh.

ENTERPRISE Esports

Roster: Fishoguy, Bapn, Playxr, Relaes, Tuhan, MinGoran (Head Coach), Nado (Assistant Coach)

When the Oceania League 2025 kicked off, the average viewer expected Gaimin Gladiators and the Chiefs to fight for the region's spot to compete in the Siege X Esports World Cup. Such prediction couldn't have been further from truth.

Against all of the odds, the Challenger Series 2025 champions, ENTERPRISE Esports, stole the show with a 6-1 record in the group stage that awarded the team with the league's top seed ahead of the playoffs. Then, a 2-0 win against Ludavica was followed by another 2-0 victory, this time against Gaimin Gladiators. Finally, ENTERPRISE Esports secured their spot in Riyadh with another 2-0 win against Ludavica.

While ENTERPRISE Esports' roster includes two members with international experience in the former Team Bliss' player Morgan "Fishoguy" Ishizaka and the former Team Bliss and Gaimin Gladiators coach and analyst Kim "MinGoran" Min-geun, not many viewers could have predicted this outcome. The rest of players in the team will be making their international debuts in Riyadh.
