A new update for Warzone is approaching now that Season 1 will begin soon, and we are waiting for the patch notes. This update will bring the Black Ops 6 integration into the game, meaning a large list of changes is expected.
Although the major additions have already been announced, we have gathered our thoughts and speculations on the hidden changes and adjustments only reflected in the notes while we wait for its release.
Release date
Warzone Season 1 is scheduled to begin on Thursday, November 14 at 9:00 am PT (5:00 pm GMT). The season will last for about eight weeks, with a mid-season patch dropping around the fourth week.
PC players can preload the update to have it ready for release. On the other hand, the preload for console players should be available a few hours before the season drops.
What do we know about the patch notes?
Although the patch notes will be posted a few hours before the season starts, we have a few ideas of what we could see in them.
For starters, since this update will integrate all the Black Ops 6 arsenal into the game, we expect a long list of weapon adjustments. The patch should follow the trend of previous years and make the current meta weapons weaker to allow the Black Ops 6 weapons to take the frontline.
The patch will most likely include quality-of-life additions and more UI improvements/changes. Some of the current designs are going away, like the Battle Pass format, so it would make sense if the update did some cleaning on the UI front.
Another thing we expect to see are bug fixes, targeting many errors to make the experience smoother, similar to what happens with pretty much every patch.
Once the patch notes are live, we will update this article to add them so you can read all about the changes and new features here.
