Valorant release official Clove teaser revealing the agent's abilities

Clove is coming to Valorant soon!

The excitement around Valorant is huge. With the best teams in the world competing at the VCT Masters Madrid and the news around the upcoming patch, which could include a new map, the fans can't wait any longer.

However, the jewel in the crown is Valorant's Agent 25, also known as Clove. The first non-binary agent in Valorant will be deployed to the game with the next update, which should be deployed shortly after the conclusion of the VCT Masters Madrid.

While all of this sounds incredibly thrilling, Valorant's developers are aware of how much the community wants to know more about Clove. You asked... and they delivered. Today, Valorant unveiled a short video displaying Clove's abilities.

Valorant unveils Clove's abilities

Before today, we only knew the name for Clove's abilities. However, it's the moment of truth. Valorant's new video unveiled Clove's abilities as we now know how they look on the battlefield. No more theories.

Here's how each one of Clove's abilities look on the server!

Ruse

One of Clove's abilities will be able to smoke big areas of the map, similar to Brimstone's Sky Smoke. In the video we can see Clove displaying a map that she can control with their hands to throw the smoke clouds as she pleases. Unfortunately, we don't know any details about the range of the clouds and the maximum distance she can deploy the smokes from.

Judging by how Clove was played in the video, the agent can be used to support their teammates with their smoke clouds. Additionally, the agent can be used to push the site with their remaining two abilities.

Additionally, the video displays how Clove has access to a mini-map after being killed. There, the agent can chose where to throw a smoke cloud, which can be used to support those teammates who are still alive.

With the smoke cloud being quite big, it can be used to create new angles and spots. Thanks to it, Clove's team wins the round!

Meddle

Meddle will allow Clove to throw a sphere that will cause a slight decay to the targets affected by it. Unfortunately, we still don't know how much will the decay effect last for.

In the video we can see how the sphere detonates next to the enemy Killjoy. Later on, using the smokes previously mentioned, Clove pushes Killjoy to kill they.

Clove's Ultimate: Not Dead Yet

Clove will have an ability that will allow they to revive themself. In the video we can see how she is taken down, revives in a strange form, and moves like if Clove was some kind of ghost.

Seconds later, Clove gets back to their human form as the agent continues on the battlefield like nothing had happened.

According to recent leaks on X by @VALORANTLeaksEN, Clove's Ultimate will require seven Ultimate Points.

Later on, it was revealed that Clove will have to kill someone while being on them "ghost form" otherwise the agent won't be able to fully return from the death.

When will Clove be fully revealed?

Valorant will unveil Clove during the final day of the VCT Masters Madrid, as multiple invited content creators and professional players have been invited to feature in a show match where Clove will make a first official appearence. Make sure to tune in today in Valorant's official Twitch channel!
