Valorant's new agent was finally unveiled in Incheon, Seoul, South Korea, during the Valorant Champions 2024. The game's Agent 26, also known as Vyse, is arriving with the release of Episode 9 Act 2.
Vyse is a Sentinel and will be the sixth agent in that category, joining Cypher, Sage, Killjoy, Chamber, and Deadlock.
As a Sentinel, Vyse will focus on supporting her teammates. Looking at her abilities, we believe Vyse is more of a defense agent since her loadout adapts perfectly to defensive tasks.
Vyse's abilities have been displayed in Valorant's most recent video on X, with Shear and Steel Garden stealing the show.
Vyse's Shear will allow her to create a temporary iron-made wall that enemies won't be able to destroy. This can be great when it comes to defending a site: if you stop the attackers' push, they won't be able to move back to a safe position.
Meanwhile, Steel Garden is Vyse's Ultimate ability. With it, Vyse can temporarily block the primary weapons of the enemies trapped in the area. The video shows her using the ability to retake a site on Bind.
