Riot Games' bundles for Valorant weapon skins are always great. However, sometimes, it's better to look at the past and wonder if bringing old but classic skins is a good decision. Obviously, the answer is always yes; unless you already own the original.
Now that patch 10.03's rollout has started, we know what bundle Riot Games will release alongside it: Neptune 2.0.
Believe it or not, Valorant has a weapon skin with a fish tank in it. This, combined with the fact that the skin makes a bubbly sound when shot, is what truly makes the Neptune one of the most popular skins in the game... and now, it's back! Here's everything we know about it.
Release date
With Riot Games releasing patch 10.03 to Valorant on February 18/February 19, we expect the Neptune 2.0 bundle to be released two days after the update drops on each region.
In other words, the Neptune 2.0 bundle should be released between February 21 and February 22, depending on your location.
Price
Unfortunately, Valorant has yet to give official details about the Neptune 2.0 bundle. However, we expect this to be part of the Exclusives bundles, meaning it should be worth around 8,700 VP.
Weapons and variants
It's hard to say what weapons and variants will be included this time. So far, the following weapons have been confirmed thanks to the trailer posted on the game's social media accounts:
- Phantom
- Melee
The Phantom's Neptune 2.0 will be very similar to the original skins as players will be able to see what's inside the weapon's fish tank. Additionally, the final kill animation looks similar to the one in the Prelude to Chaos bundle.
However, the Melee has stolen the show as the knife of the bundle is a pirate hook. Logically, this would be the first of its kind to be released in Valorant.
