Killjoy's Turret Nerfed
If you are a Killjoy fan, look away: you will not like this.
The German agent will be nerfed heading to Valorant's Episode 8 Act 1 as her Turret will be slapped with some changes.
First, her Turret's radius will be reduced from 180 to 100 degrees. Keep in mind that the majority of Killjoy players use her Turret to have a vague idea of where the enemies are, as the device always points to the position of the opponents. By reducing its radius, the Turret won't be as useful as before.
Last but not least, Valorant has added some visual features of the Turret on the minimap, plus an indicator of the Turret's new radius.
Deadlock gets massive buff
While Killjoy has been a victim, the changes are a blessing for any Deadlock fan.
Deadlock's Barrier Mesh has been brutally buffed, with the walls' length being extended from six to ten meters.
If that wasn't enough, Deadlock's Sonic Sensors have also been tweaked. Players will be able to recall them during the round, and their pickup distance has been increased from 12 meters to 27 meters.
Deadlock's change won't be tweaked heading to Episode 8 Act 1.
We expect these changes to make Deadlock one of the best agents heading to the next season. All of these updates have triggered some players of the Valorant community, who believe the agent will be broken during the upcoming months. Only time will tell!
