With Episode 9 Act 1 of Valorant starting very soon, Riot has released a launch trailer to promote the beginning of a new season. The trailer highlights recent additions to the game, memorable moments from the esports side, and a teaser for the upcoming kitten bundle, the Evori Dreamwings Bundle. However, the most interesting bit comes at the end of the video.
At the 1:26 mark of the trailer, a brief cinematic where we can see roots coming out from the ground shows up. This could be an indication of the new agent's abilities, whose name remains a mystery for the moment.

This is the second time this new agent has been teased, with the first teaser appearing at the end of the trailer for the game's most recent map, Abyss. That teaser shows a person with what appears to be claw-like hands.
If we combine the clues from these two teasers, we believe the new character is set to be closely related to nature and wildlife. It is difficult to deduce its abilities or any more details at this stage, so all left to do is to wait for more teasers or leaks about it.
