Now that the new year is underway, Season 2025 Act 1 will begin soon in Valorant, introducing Tejo as the next agent. This will be the game's 27th playable character, expanding the roster of available agents.
Now that the character has been officially revealed, we have gathered all the important details about him so you can read and prepare for his arrival.
Release date
Tejo will be added to Valorant with Season 2025 Act 1, which is set to begin on Tuesday, January 7 or Wednesday, January 8, depending on the region you play.

After several teasers posted online, the agent was officially revealed in the Season 2025 Act 1 cinematic, which you can see below:

Tejo's role
Tejo will be an Initiator, the first one released to the game since Gekko, back in March 2023. This will bring the tally of Initiators to seven, with Sova, Breach, Skye, KAY/O, and Fade completing the list.
Tejo's abilities
Here is the complete list of Tejo's abilities along with a short description explaining what each one does:
- Guided Salvo: EQUIP an AR targeting system. FIRE to select up to two target locations on the map. ALT FIRE to launch missiles that autonomously navigate to target locations, detonating on arrival
- Stealth Drone: Equip a stealth drone. Fire to deploy the drone forward and assume direct control of its movement. Fire again to trigger a pulse that suppresses and reveals enemies hit.
- Special Delivery: Equip a sticky grenade and press fire to launch it. The grenade sticks to the first surface it hits and explodes, concussing any targets caught in the blast. You can alt fire to launch the grenade with a single bounce instead.
- Armaggedon (Tejo's Ultimate): Equip a tactical strike targeting map. Fire to select the origin point of the strike. Fire again to set the end point and launch the attack, unleashing a wave of explosions along the strike path.
Tejo's nationality
Just as speculated from the first teaser, Tejo is an agent from Colombia. This will make him the third agent from Latin America, joining Reyna from Mexico and Raze from Brazil.
