The Finals unveil new game mode called Terminal Attack

Terminal Attack will be a 5v5 game mode where players will only have one life.

Although The Finals went a bit quiet during Easter, Embark Studios' shooter is starting the week with a bang: a new game mode is just around the corner.

Called Terminal Attack, The Finals' new limited-time game mode will be deployed on May 2. Keep on reading to find out more about this exciting update!

Terminal Attack - Rules

Terminal Attack is The Finals' new 5v5 game mode. The attackers' main goal will be to deliver the Decryption Key to one of the terminals and make sure that the transfer gets done. Meanwhile, the defenders will have to stop the attackers from doing so. The first team to win four rounds wins!

Compared to other game modes, Terminal Attack will be unique as players won't respawn after being killed. This means that dead players will have to spectate their teammates until the beginning of the upcoming round.

As described in The Finals' official blog post, "this is a 5v5 attack and defend mode played over multiple rounds where teams take turns defending and attacking an objective. No healing. No revives. One life."

Terminal Attack - Drops

Additionally, The Finals' official X (formerly known as Twitter) account unveiled that Terminal Attack will include Twitch Drops. Streamers now have the chance to be included in the program as they will have to complete a Google Form first.

Keep in mind that The Finals is a free-to-play shooter. Therefore, you can start playing the game today on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X and S, and Steam!
