Team oNe and Lorenzo “Lagonis” Volpi have done it – they’ve qualified for the Charlotte Major with a completely new set of three players. Four Team oNe players will be heading to their first Major ever.

When the old Mexico Major champion Team oNe roster dissipated to 00 Nation and G2, not many thought the new-look Team oNe would survive, much less thrive, in a cutthroat BR6. By all measures, this is one of the deepest regions in Siege, and with the youth revolution in some teams, it got deeper in the transfer window.

However, one of the Mexico Major-winning architects had different plans for Team oNe. Not even a tough final playday loss to Black Dragons could knock oNe out of CES qualification – victories over 00 Nation, Team Liquid, and MiBR kept them in the top four.

Team oNe lost to Team Liquid earlier in the Copa Elite Six, but their victory over Furious Gaming has sent them to Charlotte.

Now, Lagonis and a young group of talented Brazilians have another shot at Major glory in Charlotte, beginning on May 16.
