Team BDS have joined w7m esports in Rainbow Six Siege's Esports World Cup grand final after defeating FURIA Esports on Oregon (7-4) and Bank (7-3).
The Six Invitational 2024 champions were behind on the scoreboard for most of the series as the Europeans kicked off the first map with a 5-1 defensive half on Oregon. Despite FURIA's best efforts to keep themselves alive on Team BDS' map pick, the Europeans closed the map after securing two attacking rounds.
Unfortunately for the Brazilians, Bank didn't go much differently. Although the Black Panthers secured the first round, Team BDS reached match point after winning six of the following seven rounds. Shortly after, the French-majority roster secured the win on the map and clinched a spot to compete in tomorrow's grand final.
Curiously enough, Team BDS defeated the Brazilian roster in last year's Gamers8 semi-finals. Back then, the world champions competed for w7m esports. Precisely, both organizations will meet tomorrow in the Esports World Cup grand finals.
