Team BDS qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Manchester grand final after back-to-back 7-4 victories against DarkZero Esports.

The match between the European and the North American sides was a special one as Fatih "Solotov" Türker, Josh "Yuzus" Pritchard, and Nathan "Nafe" Sharp officially met on the server for the first time since the players parted ways with MNM Gaming.

Curiously enough, the Turkish player averaged the best SiegeGG rating in the match (1.30) after registering a K-D of 21-16 (+5) and an entry balance of 5-4 (+1). It's also worth mentioning Loic "BriD" Chongthep's outstanding performance as the team's support, including an entry balance of 3-0 (+3), one clutch, and five plants.

While the French-majority squad seemed to be in charge during most of the series, the roster struggled to close their pick, Oregon. In three of the team's seven rounds there were clutches, with Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu clutching on round five, BriD on round seven, and Yuzus on round ten. Additionally, Solotov managed to get an ace after the Turk almost single-handedly won his team a 2v5 round.

With this result, Team BDS reached the team's third international grand final as they did so at the Six Jönköping Major and the Gamers8 2023. Tomorrow, the Europeans will face off against Beastcoast to see who lifts the Deimos-shaped trophy in Manchester.
