Team BDS have qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta after a 2-1 victory against MNM Gaming in the Europe League Deciders' semifinals.
Although the marshmallows got to upset their opponents with a victory on Clubhouse, Stéphane "Shaiiko" Lebleu stole the show as he gathered 33 kills within the first two maps. On Kafe, the Frenchman obtained 18 kills in eight rounds.
On Skyscraper, both teams were very close as the rosters switched sides with a tie on the scoreboard. Unfortunately for MNM Gaming, the team lost momentum as the Frenchmen got three rounds in a row, including a Caveira play by Théo "LikEfac" Mariano.
With this win, Team BDS have secured a spot to compete at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta. This will be the team's first appearance at a Six Major organized by BLAST after missing out on the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen.
It's worth noting that Team BDS won the Gamers8 2023 in July 2023 after defeating Oxygen Esports, w7m esports, Team Falcons, and M80.
While Team BDS and Virtus.pro will meet tomorrow to determine Europe's best team in Stage 2, MNM Gaming and Wolves Esport will play for the region's third spot in Atlanta.
