With the South Korea League 2024 Playoffs starting later today, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming matches.

PSG Talon vs. BlossoM

PSG Talon and BlossoM will meet in the first match of the day. After finishing in third place, Fabian "Fabian" Hällsten's players are the favorites to win the game. If that were the case, the South Koreans would play against DPlus in the semifinals.

PSG Talon's start to the season was exceptional as the roster won its first four matches in the South Korea League 2024 Stage 1. However, the team ended the regular phase on a low as the team lost two of their final three games — two overtime defeats against DPlus and FearX.

In terms of statistics, Hong "Misa" Sang-yeong and Lee "Soldier" Si-hyeon have been PSG Talon's best players and finished as two of the best three players in the league, only behind WEBL's Jeong "Napz" Tae-yeon. Meanwhile, Kim "H1ro" Seong-hyun is the only BlossoM player with a positive SiegeGG rating (1.10).

Earlier in the season, PSG Talon and BlossoM faced off in the second week of action, where the blue and red roster secured a 7-1 victory on Oregon.

Beyond Stratos Gaming vs. FearX

FearX had a slow start to the season with three defeats in the team's initial four matches. However, the team reverted the situation with three victories, including an overtime win against PSG Talon and regulation wins against Before and After and Mir Gaming.

Today, the Six Invitational 2024 bound will play against Beyond Stratos Gaming, who ended in fifth place three points behind the yellow roster. Similar to FearX, Beyond Stratos Gaming had a sloppy start to the campaign which was fixed with three victories in their final four matches — including a 7-3 win against FearX.

Curiously enough, Beyond Stratos Gaming's positive run began when the roster added the team's analyst Choi "JinA" Ju-seong to the squad to replace Choi "CrazyBoy" Min-ho. In three games, CrazyBoy averaged a SiegeGG rating of 0.27.

Kim "Demic" Dae-yeong and Jang "RIN" Byeong-uk were FearX's best players during the regular phase with the same SiegeGG rating (1.21). Meanwhile, Kim "RuMaTick" Jang-wook was Beyond Stratos Gaming's best player with a SiegeGG rating of 1.20.

The winner of the series between FearX and Beyond Stratos Gaming will play against WEBL, who unexpectedly finished at the top of the standings after defeating DPlus by 7-3 on Nighthaven Labs.
