Soniqs have now lost four games in a row, meaning they are effectively out of the Six Major.

The 2021 NAL champions lost 4-7 against FaZe, 5-7 against SANDBOX, and 6-8 & 4-7 against G2 Esports, which puts them on one point -- seven behind G2 -- with just six points left to play for.

This continues a trend for Soniqs after they exited the Mexico Major in last place and finished third in their group at the Sweden Major. Afterwards, the NAL champions finished 5-6th at the Six Invitational, but failed to qualify for the Charlotte Major.

Now, Seth "supr" Hoffman has ended his final event as a player as the first team out of playoff contention. It is a disappointing result, considering they were the second seed in North America.

Elsewhere in Group B, FaZe Clan locked in a quarter-final spot, leaving it between G2 and SANDBOX for the final spot. G2 now have eight points to SANDBOX's three, making it a hard fight back for the Korean underdogs.
