Six Invitational 2024 Day 2 Matches

Day 2 of the Six Invitational 2024 will have eight matches, which the fans will be able to watch on Rainbow6 and Rainbow6Bravo. Here's a brief look at all of them.

G2 Esports vs. FearX

G2 Esports come from beating Ninjas in Pyjamas by 7-2 and 7-4 on Clubhouse and Skyscraper, respectively. Following the team's victory against the Brazilians and DarkZero Esports' result against Geekay Esports, the Europeans are the favorites to take the group's first seed.

On Day 2, the Six Invitational 2023 winners will play against FearX, which are, on paper, the Cinderella of the group. Anything but a G2 Esports victory would potentially be considered the upset of the day.

Historically, G2 Esports and FearX have only clashed twice. It was in Aug. 2022, when both sides met at the Six Berlin Major's group stage. Back then, the European powerhouse won both matches.

DarkZero Esports vs. Ninjas in Pyjamas

DarkZero Esports' match against Geekay Esports was one of the most followed games on Day 1 due to the professional return of Jason "Beaulo" Doty. Additionally, it was also the first official match for Nathan "Nafe" Sharp under the purple colors.

With the Saudi Arabian-majority roster taking the second map of the series against the Americans, the team led by Troy "Canadian" Jaroslawski heads to the second day of action with one point behind G2 Esports. The team's game against Ninjas in Pyjamas will be crucial to maintaining the Europeans' pace, who are the favorites to take the group's first seed.

FaZe Clan vs. Spacestation Gaming

FaZe Clan and Spacestation Gaming will meet for the first time at an international Rainbow Six Siege competition since the teams clashed in the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta quarterfinals. Back then, the Brazilians won the series by 2-1. Curiously enough, the roles have been switched at the Six Invitational 2024 and FaZe Clan are now the home side.

While FaZe Clan started the tournament with a rock-solid flawless win against DPlus, Spacestation Gaming's first match ended in tears as the Americans lost to Wolves Esports by 2-1. Another defeat for the astronauts would massively hurt their chances of topping the Group B standings.

Wolves Esports vs. Team Bliss

Wolves Esports and Team Bliss will meet tomorrow for the third time this season, after doing so twice at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta. Back then, the pink organization upset the Frenchmen with an 8-6 victory on Chalet. Unfortunately for the Australians, the Frenchmen redeemed themselves with a thrilling 2-1 victory in the lower bracket grand final.

Three months later both sides will meet again, this time in Brazil. While Team Bliss will make its debut in the competition, Wolves Esports expects to get the team's second victory at the Six Invitational 2024.

Virtus.Pro vs. M80

Both Virtus.Pro and M80 head to the second day of action after defeats against Team Liquid and w7m esports, respectively. Therefore, the loser of this match would only have two matches to get back from a slow start.

While Virtus.Pro got a map from Team Liquid, M80 pushed w7m esports to overtime twice in the same series. In terms of individual skills, this is potentially the best match of the day.

w7m esports vs. Bleed Esports

Following their victory against M80, the two-time BLAST R6 Major champions head to Day 2 as Group C's leaders.

The Bulls' next opposition will be Bleed Esports, who will play their first international match since their loss against Spacestation Gaming at the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta.

FURY vs. Team Falcons

The match between FURY and Team Falcons could be the one that decides who finishes at the bottom of Group D's standings by the end of the fourth and final day of the group stage.

Against LOS, Team Falcons looked to be behind a rock and a hard place as the roster has had to travel to Brazil with two stand-ins in Victor "Bersa" Hugo and Jake "Leadr" Fortunato. Following a 4-7 loss at Nighthaven Labs, the Saudi Arabian-majority roster lost flawlessly on Border.

Meanwhile, the Thai squad heads to the Six Invitational 2024 in a sweet moment. As shown in Atlanta, the roster improved throughout the final months of the season and was one round away from defeating DarkZero Esports in a BO3 series.

Soniqs vs. LOS

The clash between Soniqs and LOS may be the most interesting match of the day as the result of the match is likely to decide who will top the standings in Group D.

Both sides come from winning their matches on Day 1. First, LOS defeated Team Falcons in a very one-sided series. Finally, Soniqs' maximum overtime victory on Chalet confirmed the Americans' win over SCARZ.
