Only one day after unveiling the competitive retirement of Tyson "TenZ" Ngo, Sentinels have announced the retirement of Gustavo "Sacy" Rossi from competitive Valorant.

Before joining the American organization, Sacy had made a name for himself in multiple Brazilian organizations, including RED Canids, Team Vikings, and LOUD. It was while representing the green badge that Sacy won the Valorant Champions 2022.

Following his international success while playing for LOUD, the Brazilian accepted Sentinels' offer. Although the 2023 season saw Sentinels finishing the season empty-handed, the 2024 season would be completely different for the red roster.

One year since the team's last international appearance, Sentinels' success at the VCT 2024 Americas Kickoff was followed by a win at the VCT Masters Madrid, where they defeated Gen.G Esports in the grand final.

Although the team missed out on the VCT Masters Madrid, Sentinels redeemed themselves with a fourth-place finish at the Valorant Champions 2024 after losing to Team Heretics. This means that Sentinels finished behind Leviatán as the team was the second-best Americas roster in Seoul, South Korea.
