Road to Atlanta: When is Stage 2 starting?

September is bringing back Rainbow Six Siege's top-flight competitions.

After more than a hundred days since w7m esports' flawless victory against Team Liquid in the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen grand final, we are finally approaching the start of the second stage.

With nine different regional top-flights, we understand it may be difficult to keep track of what's going on. Here's a brief look at the starting dates for Year 8's second split!

Note: BLAST are yet to announce the official match schedules.

Europe

The Europe League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 4.

Following victories against Team Secret, WYLDE, and G2 Esports, the Russian roster of Virtus.pro won Europe's first split. G2 Esports and MNM Gaming finished in second and third place, respectively. Finally, Wolves Esports got Europe's fourth spot at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen after winning the Last Chance Qualifiers.

North America

The North America League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 6.

The Brazilian-majority roster of M80 got North America's first seed as DarkZero Esports and Spacestation Gaming finished in second and third place, respectively. Following their victory at the Last Chance Qualifiers, Soniqs grabbed the region's last spot to compete at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen.

Brazil

The Brazil League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 9.

After defeating Team Liquid by 2-0 in the Brazil League 2023 Stage 1 grand final, FaZe Clan finished in first place. The Blue Cavalry, in second, and w7m esports, in third, followed the Six Sweden Major champions. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the Last Chance Qualifiers.

LATAM League

The LATAM League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 4.

Six Karma became the first Mexican-majority roster to qualify for a Six Major after winning the first stage of the LATAM League. The European roster of REVEN ECLUB got the region's second spot at the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen after winning the Last Chance Qualifiers.

Japan League

The Japan League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 2.

The Japan League 2022 champions SCARZ won 2023's first stage. Eventually, the Japanese side reached the Top 8 of the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen.

NORTHEPTION's second place in the JPL 2023 Stage 1 and Varrel's victory in the Last Chance Qualifiers saw CYCLOPS athlete gaming missing out on the first Major of the year.

South Korea

The South Korea 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 1.

Despite both DPlus and SANDBOX Gaming finished in second place in their groups, the South Korean powerhouses qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen. The Six Sweden Major semi-finalists got the region's first seed after defeating the yellow roster by 2-0 in the grand final.

Finally, LAVEGA Esports won the Last Chance Qualifiers following victories against 123 Team, PANTHERA, and Beyond Stratos Gaming.

MENA League

The MENA League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 6.

Following Team Falcons' victory against Geekay Esports by 8-7, the Saudi Arabian-majority roster qualified for the BLAST R6 Major Copenhagen. The result also awarded them with a direct invite to the MENA League 2023 Stage 2.

With the qualifiers being celebrated this week, Geekay Esports, Twisted Mines, Triple Esports, and AKATSUKI-TEAM have already been confirmed to compete in the MENA League 2023 Stage 2.

Oceania League

The Oceania League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 11.

Team Bliss' flawless record throughout Stage 1 put them on top of the region's standings. So far, they are the only confirmed roster to compete in the Oceania League 2023 Stage 2, as more teams will be unveiled once the qualifiers end. Undoubtedly, they are the favorites in Oceania to qualify for the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta.

South Asia League

The South Asia League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 2.

Monkey Hunters, Rush B, and Shaheens have been directly invited to the second stage of the competition. More teams will be unveiled in the upcoming days!

South East Asia League

The South East Asia League 2023 Stage 2 will begin on Sep. 2.

Dire Wolves, Elevate, FURY, and Bleed Esports have been invited to the second stage of the tournament. Just like in the South Asia League, more teams will be announced in the upcoming days!
